Grand Parade

Grand Parade is a road in Bath that is supported by a structural framework of piers and girders, arcing along the edge of the river to connect Pulteney Bridge with the area near Orange Grove. Built between eighteen ninety-nine and nineteen oh one by city architect Major Charles Edward Davis, the road was created as part of a significant infrastructure project to facilitate the construction of the Empire Hotel.
