Rochambeau Playground is defined by two concrete pillars at the edge of its central walkway, each topped with large mosaic sculptures of a tennis ball and a basketball. Located in the Richmond District on twenty-fifth Avenue, this site provides a public space for recreation that has been in use since at least the nineteen forties.
