The Gingerbread Cottage Bed and Breakfast is a nineteen oh five heritage home recognized for its status as one of the first side-by-side duplex designs built in the downtown Victoria area. A carpenter originally constructed the building to live in one half while his sister occupied the other. Today, the structure retains most of its original hardwood floors and windows, maintaining the appearance of a Victorian Arts and Crafts house.
