Auteuil Hippodrome

The Auteuil Hippodrome is defined by its expansive, figure-eight grass tracks and challenging obstacles designed exclusively for steeplechase racing. Situated on the edge of the Bois de Boulogne, this thirty-three-hectare facility opened on November first, eighteen seventy-three, following a concession granted to the Société des Steeple-chases de France. It remains the primary center for jump racing in the country.
