Lunds Court is a narrow, enclosed passage that links Swinegate to Low Petergate, carved into the dense medieval layout of York. It belongs to a group of historic pedestrian paths in the city known as snickelways, a term created in nineteen eighty-three to describe these tight gaps between buildings. While the path now carries a formal name, it was once widely known as Mad Alice Lane.
