Monk Bar Chocolatiers

Monk Bar Chocolatiers is identified by its location at number seven on The Shambles, a narrow, medieval street in the center of York. The business was established in nineteen ninety-nine by Ray and Liz Cardy, who originally opened their shop near one of the city's historic stone gates, the Monk Bar. In two thousand two, the family opened this second location on The Shambles, eventually moving all their operations here as the founders transitioned into retirement.
