The Wind Power mural on Mitchell Street features a subtle visual detail that rewards a careful look. While the painting appears to show a simple puff of dandelion seeds floating through the air, those seeds are actually small wind turbines. Created by the street artist Rogue One in two thousand fourteen, the artwork was painted as a live installation during the Doors Open Days event to celebrate the growth of sustainable energy production across Scotland.
